First weeks of school

I didn't get the more traditional first day of school pics, but wanted to at least have some pictures of the kids during their first weeks of school!

Pat took Kate and Grace to the HS football games on a couple Friday nights, and Will stayed home.  It was sweet how Will and Annie hung out when the others were gone:).

Other summer activities. . . .

Lemonade stand! We started at Aunt Georgia's, recruited Kellen, Ireland and Nolan, and ended up at the library! The kids made a little money, and I was happy that I followed through with it since I told them we could do it this summer!

I should have even more pics of Papa Bill's garden because it's amazing! And we are so spoiled throughout the summer with fresh veggies!!

Fair! They were so excited to win prizes that I think they spent about $10 of their own money to win those furry things!!

Washington Family Ranch

We had a great weekend at Washington Family Ranch with the McLachlans!

Louisa and Kate were amazing helpers with Leo!! 

Uncle Paul

I flew down to Colusa to attend my Uncle Paul's funeral.  It was such a special celebration of his life, and it was a blessing to get to spend time with family! It was a great day!!
Below are some pictures from the reception at my Aunt Toni Ann's house.   I didn't get my camera out until about half way through, so missed some people!

August birthdays and getaways . . . .

Kate is 7!! We had a fun day celebrating her with her friends! It was her first birthday party with friends from school, and it was great to have it in the middle of the summer because it made it especially fun to see everyone!! She picked out the birthday hat and wore it all day!

The next weekend was the church campout! I didn't take a lot of pictures, but the older kids had fun camping in the tent with Pat, while I went home with Leo and Annie! 

Then off to Butte Meadows to meet baby Olivia, and celebrate Annie's 4th Birthday!!
