Grace's Basketball Season

Below are highlights from Grace's last travel season.  

The two outings that stood out to me from her season were the Seaside and Redmond tournaments.  

Seaside was amazing because we rented a house that was really great for the girls to stay in! Amy and Tiffany were the chaperones, and the girls had a lot of fun staying together and doing things around Seaside together.  

And Redmond was fun because we stayed at Eagle Crest, my mom came, and some of the girls rented a house where they hosted us for meals, which was really fun! Also, it was really fun to have our whole family there.  I loved how the kids had signs and cheered for the girls! 

 

Grace's birthday, December activties, Christmas

December was busy with different activities! Basketball season started, and it was fun to watch Grace and Kate play in tournaments and Will play JV and Varsity.  Annie and Leo were also playing, but didn't start games and clinics until January.  We had a lot of fun going to Margueritte's Christmas party! Kids don't usually go, so it was really nice of her to include our crew! And great for the kids to attend a fancy party😄.  We don't get out much, so it was great!  Then we had the Christmas pageant at our church that I helped organize.  I always feel like it's God's grace that it all comes together, which I think adds to how special it all is! 

Then Grace's birthday.  It was really fun to have her friends over to celebrate! They decorated ornaments, then decided to go Christmas caroling, and had a lot of fun with that! 

And of course, Christmas! We went to Maureen and Bill's on Christmas Eve, then woke up around 7 to open presents on Christmas morning.  It was a fun, slow morning, then we had Bill, Maureen, Kelly and Matt for dinner!
