Mom and Karen's Visit. .

We had a fun week with my mom and Karen!

We had a Father's Day brunch at Bill and Maureen's,
and a BBQ at Bobby and Carrie's.

Aunt Jesse drove my mom back from Seattle.  It was great to see her, and fun that she brought the kids pinwheels!

Zoo with Grandma before she headed off with Aunt Jackie to the coast.

Watching Will's first flag football game:).  You can see Pat and Will way in the background.

We headed over to see Aunt Jackie, Sara, and Emily at their beach house on Sunday.  Karen and my mom were already there. It was fun to see everyone, and the kids had fun playing with all the other kids!
Grace loved hanging out with the little ones!
I'm always grateful for people who will play games with my kids!

It's nice to get a picture just with Pat every once in a while:).
Sara, Emily and Aunt Jackie were awesome hosts! They put together a picnic for the kids, which was fun!

I didn't realize that my kids enjoyed dogs so much until our day at the beach when they were entertained throughout the day with Sara and Emily's dogs.
Kate asked me to take a picture with her new buddy:).
They got to roast hotdogs and marshmallows.  So fun!

Pat's Birthday and Graduations!

For Pat's birthday, we went to the zoo, then had pizza, Blizzards, and presents back at our house.  The next morning, we hosted a birthday brunch for him with some of his family, and Tom Wilson:).

The kids' favorite part of the zoo, especially on a nice day, is playing chase with Pat:).
The kids had fun picking out presents for Pat. Grace:Ice Cream, Kate: Gatorade, and Will:Beavers T-shirt

Abby's Graduation and celebration weekend. . .

Abby's high school graduation

Will and Karen had a graduation party for Abby, and Maureen hosted a BBQ the night before the party with her sisters, and some of their kids. It was a mini family reunion, which was fun!

Will had fun playing outside with Daniel and Owen!

Will's preschool graduation.. . . I thought it was kind of silly to have a graduation ceremony for preschool, but it was pretty cute:).

T-BALL

T-Ball season just ended! Pat and I had a lot of fun coaching. We had a fun team, and it was exciting to see the little bit of progress they made in the 5 weeks.  And we were super fortunate this year with the weather! It has been by far the nicest spring since I've lived up here!!

End of season BBQ. . .
and where they received their trophies.

Not sure why they are so serious:).

Mother's Day

I really like Mother's Day:).  It's a day when I feel like I'm off duty, and can choose what activities we do.  We started the morning with the kids and Pat cleaning the house while I worked out.  It's amazing what a treat it was to come home to a clean house that I had not cleaned myself:).  Later that day we played tennis, then headed to UP for a baseball game.  It was a beautiful day, and great to be outside!

Grace and Kate didn't last too long at the baseball game, so we had fun walking around the campus!
They were giving away cookies/brownies in the outfield!
Tennis time!

Will is 6!

Will celebrated his 6th birthday with a construction/Burgerville birthday party. He and his friends got a tour of Pat's new building, then they walked across the street for ice cream and cupcakes at Burgerville.

And on his actual birthday, we had a ditch day and went to Seaside, where Pat's parents were staying. It was the warmest I've ever been on the Oregon Coast! The kids had so much fun swimming in the pools and playing on the beach!

We left the beach to head to his first t-ball game! Pat and I are coaching, which is really fun, and the kids had a great first game.  T-ball is pretty funny because you don't keep score, you don't have outs, and you can only go to first base, even if you could have  had a home run.  I learned from last year, that if they can make contact, run fast to first, and do not fight over the ball with their teammates, then we are making progress:).

Beach time!

Kate was a little more cautious, and wanted to stay in the sand with Grandma Reen.

Happy Birthday to Will!

Aunt Kelly getting eaten by a shark!

Watch out, Grace!
Will got a kite for his birthday, and had fun flying it with Aunt Kelly.
