Baby Leo!

We are so grateful for the arrival of baby Leo Patrick Kessi! He was born at 7:05pm on May 16th. 9lbs, 9oz.   It was a long day as I checked in at 7:30am, and not a lot happened until 6:45pm! I was so grateful that it happened then, though, because my Nurse Midwife, Jabke, was on until 7pm! So we made it just in time for her to deliver him. 

It was such an awesome feeling to deliver him and know that he was here and healthy! I'm going to try to add more pictures soon, but wanted to publish what I have so far! 

It was so fun to have the kids come visit the day after he was born!

Then it was back home! We were able to go home on Thursday morning, the 18th.  It was surreal to leave the hospital with a baby!  

Will's 9th bday and 1st Communion!

We had a big weekend celebrating Will's 9th birthday and his 1st Communion! My parents came to town late Friday night to be there in time for his baseball game on the morning of his birthday, then he had a birthday party right after his game.  Then it was on to his 1st Communion the next day!

A little sunshine, bowling, and baseball. . . .

These pics are from a few weeks ago, when we got a little warmer days! It was probably only 65 degrees, but they treated it like 85 with water balloon fights and slip and slide:).

And Will went to a birthday party at the bowling ally a couple months ago, and had to leave before he could bowl, so decided he wanted to go bowling for his bday with his sisters. It was more fun then I anticipated!!

Will wanted to go bowling for his birthday, so we went the weekend before when they had a day off of school. I was pleasantly surprised how much we all enjoyed it!

Will's first minor's baseball game! He was up first and pitched.  I was SO nervous for him, but he did a great job!

Easter!

We had a fun and very busy Easter! Grace was the first one up at 6:45 and she got everyone going! We had an indoor hunt since it was still pretty cold outside!! The kids had fun finding their baskets and looking for eggs! 

Then it was off to 8:30 mass, and back right after that for brunch at our house with Muriel and Murray! They brought eggs for another egg hunt that they were able to do outside.

And then it was rest time and time to go to Maureen and Bill's for dinner. . . .and another egg hunt! 

Needless to say, the kids got their fill of sweets and egg hunts! 

It was a great day, but by the end, I was SO exhausted!! 

The Easter bunny brought them each a bouncy ball.  I think this happens every year because I love those bouncy balls so much.  And so do the kids!!
