Black Butte-Memorial Day Weekend

We had an awesome weekend in Black Butte with Tom and Jessica Wilson and their daughter Bridget.  I love Central Oregon and had never been to Black Butte, so it was fun to see! And my favorite was when we went to church on Sunday in Sisters, and across the street from the church is the most beautiful view of the mountains! So pretty!!

And my other favorite part was eating at the lodge on the way out.  Pat took the kids to the pool while  Leo was napping and I was cleaning up.  I was eager to enjoy the beautiful day, so we stopped at the lodge on the way out and it was so fun! And so pretty!

Bill's 80th Birthday!

We hosted a brunch to celebrate Bill's 80th birthday! It was a fun morning, and the kids were especially excited because their surprise for Papa Bill was to have the fire truck come and pick him up to continue the party at the fire station! Super random, but Bill had bid on a fire station birthday the year before, and the kids thought it would be fun to do it for his birthday:).  And it was very fun, but very busy!!

Leo's 1st Birthday

We had fun celebrating Leo's 1st Birthday! We had a little celebration after school and sang happy birthday with our neighbors, then had a park party with some of our friends the next day.  The kids had fun going to Goodwill and getting him gifts under $3!

Mother's Day!

I had it in my head to go to Jamison Square in Portland for Mother's Day, so given it was "my day", it wasn't too hard to make happen:).   We hadn't been over there in a few years, so it was fun to be back! And fun to get Hot Lips Pizza for dinner!

Will's 10th Birthday!

Will wanted to have a bowling party for his birthday. We celebrated it a week before his actual birthday, since I knew it would be busy with the 1st Communion! He had fun hanging out with is friends and sisters! And he was especially excited to go to his game right after! 

Then on his birthday proper, we had a breakfast celebration before 1st Communion, then he got to go fishing after with Uncle Will and Pat and a couple friends, then he chose Dairy Queen for dinner! So he had an especially full birthday this year, which is fun because it was his 10th!

He wanted cookies instead of cake:).
