Back to School. . . .

 Every year I think I'm going to get the cute back to school pics with the signs saying what grade the kids are going to be in, but by the time that first day comes, I'm super grateful to get them out the door and to school on time with their lunches and a smile on their faces:).  I did want to include a picture of everyone at the beginning of the year, though! Kate, 2nd grade, Will, 5th, Grace, 4th, and Annie and Leo home with me!

Sunriver

We had a great week in Sunriver! It was really fun to stay with my parents and have Karen's family and then Eric's family come, as well!

I wish I would have gotten more pics with my cousins, because that was one of the highlights of the night was seeing/catching up with them!

Crater Lake

We stopped at Crater Lake on our way to Sunriver.  Neither Pat nor I had been there, and we were excited to go! The kids weren't excited for the long road trip, but we all thought it was pretty cool when we got there! And Will was able to get us in free since he was in 4th grade last year!

Kate is 8!

We had a park party with her friends and cousins to celebrate in Scappoose, and then it was super fun to celebrate her actual birthday with cousins and Grandparents in Sunriver!

Other July Activities. . . .

 My birthday, all star games, the fair, trips to the library, friends visiting, flying to California.  So many fun activities that we are grateful for!

Will had a double header on my birthday, so we had fun going to dinner the night before at Ixtapa. And then it was really fun to watch his games on my actual birthday!

I got a leaf blower for my birthday! I was so excited, and it was cute that the kids were all so excited for me to open it, because they knew I would love it:).

And on my birthday proper, we had hamburgers at Will's double header all star game:). 

It's always great to see the McLachlans!

FAIR! It was fun this year to have Will's friend Brady join us as the kids played games and went on rides!

Around the house:).

The kids made up a game called stickball, and had a lot of fun playing it! Pat and I joined them one day, and they were frustrated with us because they had made up so many rules they we didn't know! It was pretty funny, and we decided to just let them do their thing, because they all knew exactly how to play:). 

Before and after of back room! I'd had it on my mind to put a couch in the backroom since we moved in three years ago, so was determined this summer to make it happen! We already had the couch, so with help, moved it through the window, and I painted the room Naval from Sherwin Williams.  I love the color and the transformation of the room!
