Week 1 Quarantine. . .

We were so lucky that week 1 of staying home from school was such a beautiful week!! We had our "school time" in the morning, then they mostly had the afternoon to play.   I was especially grateful for our trampoline, as it provided many hours of entertainment for the kids!
*As I publish this, our last few days have been so cold and rainy, that it makes me especially appreciate that we had nice weather! Especially these days!

We had a field trip to the river on Friday morning:).  I was proud of myself to get the bikes on the car:).  The trail has been a great place to go!

Friday night dance party. . . .I wish I remembered what the song was:).

I knew I was starting to be affected by all the changes when I gave them Dairy Queen ice cream after a morning bike ride for their lunch!

More activities from our week:).  Playdo was a big hit for Annie and Leo.

It took me a while before I felt comfortable with having the kids help Papa Bill in the garden! I was micromanaging them to stay 6 feet away the whole time! It was a great change of scene, though, and great for the kids to work!

Letters to cousins! I just took a picture of Kate's, but they all wrote to one or more of their cousins!

I bought them LIFE as a St. Patrick's Day gift! Grace especially loves it and will play with anyone who will play with her:).

Leo was happy with his trucks, which we eventually moved to the backyard.
Our water bill is going to be SO high this month!! But I think it will be worth it for the entertainment it provided:).

Grace made dinner one night.  Homemade Mac N Cheese, berries, and spinach. It was really good!

Right before the quarantine. . .

We were grateful to have some fun get togethers with friends and family before the quarantine.  Matt was in town and we celebrating he and Karen's birthdays. We had a fun snow morning with friends in the neighborhood, which was really our only snow this year! I'm grateful we were able to hang out with people before the shutdown, and look forward to a time when we can get together again!

February

We had a busy February! Some activities included:  Grace and Pat going to Disneyworld, Grace and Will's basketball tournaments, Kate's Monday night basketball clinics, Valentine's Day, and Leo getting his hair cut:)!

Reading time!
Making ramps and towers with Em and Adam!

Valentine's Day visit to Grandma Reen and Papa Bills'.

Fun at Evie, Freddie and Bear's house! Especially since they get to watch Minday feed Sophie the cow.
A couple  pics that Grace sent me from Disneyworld:).

Meanwhile, the kids and I ordered Dominos and I let them get brownies and breadsticks, which I never do! It was fun!
Seaside basketball tournament!

More towers:).

Before haircut. . . .
And after. . .

Bathtime:).

Dress up time:).
Rare instance when they are all working quietly at the table:).
Watching what turned out to be Will's last game!

Manzanita Beach

We had fun right after Christmas going to Pat's friend Steve's beach house in Manzanita! My friend Kim and her family drove down from Seattle to join us, which was really fun!

Christmas 2019

Our Christmas season started with a trip to the Watt House to see Santa! It was followed by a month of busyness with Grace and Will's first basketball tournament, Will's first band concert, the Christmas pageant at church with a visit from Santa and Zoo lights.   I was grateful for some fun activities, but also grateful that the season had a calm about it! I pray this is the case every year!!

Zoo Lights!

The trampoline was our gift to the kids this year! I have wanted one for a while, so I'm excited to have it!
