Palm Springs

I don't think we've ever appreciated a trip to Palm Springs as much as we did last week! It was a combination of so many things that made it great; the fact that we hadn't been in three years, that the kids are all older (which made travel smoother), beautiful weather, time with my parents, chance to see some of Pat's family, and  Pat and I able to get away for a night.  It was a combination of so many things that made it an amazing week!! 

Pat and I did Priceline one night and stayed at a Marriot resort in Indian Wells.  It was so fun to get away, and then it was fun to have the kids come over to the pool in the morning for something different. 

It's funny how our hike up the mountain near my parents' was SO much easier since three years ago! Even Leo was able to do it! 

We had fun going to a clinic from Coach Jim.  In between Coach Jim helping us with our skills, Leo would go out and hit a few balls! Or try to hit a few balls:). 

 

The kids walked/scooted to the resort every other day, which was a great way to exert energy! 

The kids got to get ice cream at the resort, and we took some pics because it was so pretty! 

Leo loved hanging out in his spot while the other kids swam! 

Grace always came up with fun games for the kids to play in the pool! 

Lots of games with Grandma. . 

and Grandpa:). 

It was really fun to have Pat's aunt and uncle over and his cousin and family for dinner and swimming one afternoon! 

My mom and I  grabbed Starbucks and sat at resort one morning.  Their flowers were especially beautiful this year

The kids were such awesome travelers!! 

 My travel buddies:).  They were fun to travel with! Especially on the way there, where they were SO excited to look out the window during take-off and landing!
