First Dayof School

Will recently started his first year of Pre-K.  He goes to school three days/week now.  After his first week, I wondered if he should continue!  He was a different person after school.  He was so wiped out, and came home grouchy.   He has since gotten used to the routine, and is more like himself again.

He likes riding his bike to school, and loves his teachers.  He told me yesterday he wants them to come to his birthday party, which isn't until April:).
Will's first day of school!

Celebratory ice cream after his big first day!

Our New Home:)

We're loving, and so grateful for our new home.  We've moved five times in the last three years, so it is so appreciated to feel a little more settled.  And especially appreciated to have a backyard for the kids to play in! I tried to include pictures that show the inside of our house, as well as the backyard.

Our house:).

Our Neighborhood.

Yay for a backyard!!
We put in concrete and a little bit of sod to fill in the dirt between the concrete and lawn.  We are so excited to have room for them to ride their bikes! And excited to have less bark chips to track in the house!

Sandboxes are awesome!

Calm before the storm:). Will is just about to knock over Grace's tower, who in turn whacks him across the back.  Both get timeout.  Kate takes it all in, hopefully learning what not to do:).

Emily's Wedding

The day after we moved to Scappoose, we headed to Bend for my cousin Emily's wedding.  It was fun to get to see family, and to celebrate with Emily and Brant!
We stayed at a really cool house in downtown Bend.

Eric pushing four kids in the BOB.  Not sure what's more amazing; Eric, or the stroller:).

The place where they had the wedding was so pretty!

Fun hanging out with my sisters in law:).  We (mostly me:) were in search of the perfect dress.  Thanks to Sara, I was able to have something fun to wear, and thanks to Dress Barn:), Erin found a great dress, as well!

Summer Highlights!

I was inspired by my sister, Karen, to start a blog.  I want to post pictures/updates of what our family is doing, but don't necessarily want to put all of it on Facebook. So here it goes:).
I'm starting with some highlights from summer.  Summertime is so amazing around here, that I wanted to remember the glorious days when we could be outside in warm, sunny weather,  before the cold weather sets in!

We started off the summer with a vacation in Butte Meadows.  I spent my summers in Butte Meadows as a kid, and have enjoyed bringing my family there to share it with them! It was especially fun this year to have my parents and all my siblings there for a couple days!

Below are some pictures from our week.

I was reminded of how much I enjoy playing tennis!

Cousins:)

SUNRIVER

Then it was off to Sunriver.  It was our first vacation with only our family.  My parents were able to come up for a couple days, but then we were on our own:).  We had an awesome week! It was so fun to be across the street from SHARC, the new aquatic center.  We went to the park every morning, then to SHARC each afternoon!

We had fun in our cabin, but spent most of the time outside!

Watch out, Grandpa!

Happy Birthday, Grandma and Kate!

Such a pretty sunset!
