Butte Meadows

We had a quicker trip to Butte Meadows than usual, but we seemed to pack in a lot in the three full days were were there! The awesome thing about the mountains is that one day feels like two when you are outside all day with no technology!
Aunt Erin made it feel like camp with the making of tie-dye shirts and coloring rocks! And Aunt Mandy had the kids make stepping stones!
I felt spoiled by getting to show up with the whole family and having meals and entertainment provided for the whole crew!!

It was really fun to have dinner at Aunt Toni Ann's! I have such great childhood memories of spending time down at "the flat" with Grandma Mary, that it makes me happy to be there with my kids!

I bribed the kids with two Oreos to take a picture of them with their tie dye shirts:).

The kids did a talent show, and it was cute to see how excited they were watching everyone!

Birthday celebration!

Start to summer. . . . .

I didn't realize how grateful I would be for summer until week one when I didn't have to manage one school assignment!! From first dentist appointments to swim lessons, to All-Star games, we had a great start to their break from school!!

Thanks, Aunt Karen, for all the string for friendship bracelets!
I loved their swim lessons! Because of COVID, they were the only kids in the pool, and pretty much had 1-1 instruction! It was a fun start to the day, and made even better because we listened to Anne of Green Gables to and from the pool:).

Day 1 of summer, Kate packed a picnic for Annie and Leo and they biked across the street to the woods:).
I was so proud of Grace to do All-Stars! She took it very seriously, and would practice every day! I was super nervous when she said she was starting as pitcher, but she did great, and had a great attitude!

Pat's Birthday, T-ball, End of school year, Memorial Day!

More birthdays:)! We celebrated Pat's birthday with another BBQ, and then a family dinner with just our family on his birthday proper.  Pat was excited to have a lot of his family at this BBQ and also a couple of his uncles.
We also had the end of our strange school year, end of t-ball, and end of Grace and Kate's seasons.  Lot's of activity on our last week of school!

It was really fun to coach Annie's t-ball team, and to have my niece, Jane on the team! We didn't have traditional pictures because of COVID, so we took a few the last game!

Last Day of School!!

Beach weekend! We got away for a quick happy hour, and realized it was maybe the first time just the four of us had done something together without our kids! Thanks to Aunt Kelly for watching them!

My parents' visit and Leo's birthday!

Leo turned 4! My parents were in town visiting, and we had fun celebrating Leo and Bill's birthdays on Leo's actual birthday!
It was fun to have my parents visit! They were our first guest in the guest suite! We worked hard in the days before they came to get everything ready for them!

Kate made a treasure hunt for Leo! It was really fun!

Birthday buddies!
