"I'M FIVE!

Will chose to go to Burger King for dinner.  I didn't even know he knew that Burger King existed:).
I have to say it was a good choice, though. He got the cool crown, free ice cream, and their burgers are pretty good!

Will's Birthday Party!

Will had a few of his friends over to celebrate his birthday!  He told me he wanted a baseball cake, so I tried to make one:).  The best part was that I bought a pack of baseball cards at the dollar store, and all of the cards were people from my childhood, like Dave Dravecky, Will Clark, etc.  I felt like it was meant to be to have them on his cake:).

We had a fun afternoon.  I realized the morning of his party that he's old enough to play games, so we played a couple games with the kids, which was fun!

Will was most excited about his presents! He could barely wait to open them!!

I was most excited to buy bouncy balls as party favors:).  There is just something about those bouncy balls in the big bins that is so fun!!

Yay for Sunshine!

I went a little picture crazy this week:).   I think it was the combo of the beautiful weather, and feeling a little sentimental that Will is turning 5 next Monday!

Stay-cation in Portland!

My friend, Kim, organized a night getaway in downtown Portland.  She came down from Seattle, and my friend Lisa flew up from Redwood City.  We had the best time walking around the Pearl and 23rd! It was so fun to have a leisurely day in the city. We walked a ton, then stopped for food, coffee, more food, and then ice cream! So great to spend quality time with good friends!

Super Cal and Aunt K Come to Visit!

We had a fun weekend hanging out with Calvin and Kyrstin!

Dora en español:). I know they like watching shows when they can watch it even when the don't understand what's being said! I'm not sure if it's good or bad, but I sure appreciate it!

Spring Break 2013

We started off our week at Wallace Park with Muriel, Louisa and Teddy.  It was so fun! 

Then off to Redding to see Owen and Karen! 

Grace and Will walked to the park, then got a ride in the stroller on the way back.
Will held Owen's hand on the way back, and it was pretty funny b/c it looked like Owen was holding a hand of someone in a wheelchair:).

This picture kills me!! The kids were SO good on our road trip to CA, and it wasn't until the last 1/2 hour that Kate started to lose it.  I had my stash of lollipops that helped get her home, but one got stuck in her hair:). 

 Grandma and Grandpa's house! We lucked out with beautiful weather! 

Grace just started hitting the ball over the net! Usually it's just one ball out of 20, but it's still fun! 

It was so fun to see Susi and Brian, and to meet baby Callie!

Yay for candy! Unfortunately, she ate a ton of candy right before church.  The combo of sugar and getting to sit next to her cousin, Owen, made for quite the church experience!!
