4th of July

We started out our 4th of July morning with a trip to the pancake breakfast at the Fire Station.  We went the first time three years ago, and said that the years we are in town, we want to go! It's a fun community event with a great breakfast!! 

Then we went to church where we saw friends who invited us to their house for lunch.  And then we were off to the Waverly for swimming, BBQ and fireworks! 

A busy day with great people and fun activities! 

It was a beautiful night, right on the water!! So pretty, and Leo even saw ducks swimming by! 

The girls were excited to get their faces painted! And eat ice cream bars:).

50th Anniversary Weekend- Butte Meadows

We had a fun week in Butte Meadows celebrating my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary!   We go to their cabin every summer, but this time we switched it up a little by having it catered (by my sister and my brother in law:)), and by having babysitters/tennis instructors!

It was fun to be there a day ahead of everyone so we could relax a little after the big road trip! The kids had fun playing tennis with each other and my parents, and it was fun to find a different place to go to the creek!

Then, they were SO excited to have their cousins there!! Between hanging out with the cousins, and the babysitters, I barely saw my kids the rest of the weekend!! Except to take pictures:)! 

It was fun to have the Outpost cater the dinner one night!
