Eagle Crest

We had a great week in Eagle Crest celebrating Bill and Maureen's 50th wedding anniversary! The kids had so much fun hanging out with their cousins! They loved swimming, hiking, and digging up rocks! 

And I loved getting to spend time with everyone in a different context! It was so relaxing! We all took turns with dinner, so it was great to only have to think of one meal for the week! And fun to enjoy everyone else's cooking.  I also loved seeing Smith Rock! I liked it so much that I went back with Will, Karen, Abby and Clare one morning for a hike.

4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July weekend! We went to Bobby and Carrie's beach house, and the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins!
Then we went to a pancake breakfast at the fire department, then off to a very fancy BBQ at the Waverly Golf Course.  It was neat because it was the first year the kids got to stay up and watch fireworks.  The look on Grace and Will's faces was so sweet! They were in pure amazement of the whole thing! Kate and Annie were also entertained by the whole thing, but I think they were starting to get tired since it was 10pm!!
