Palm Springs!

first part of vacation with Mandy and the girls . . .

We had an amazing week of sun and family in Palm Springs!  It was our first time staying at my parent's new home there, which was so nice! And it was a bonus to get to see so much family throughout the week! Mandy was there with the girls the first weekend, then Luke and Erin came later in the week, and Pat's family was there for Matt's 40th birthday! 

Our daily routine was walking to the play structure/pool area at the resort.

Yay for warm, swimming weather!  After we established MANY rules for the pool, we all really enjoyed it:).

Pat and I went over to the resort to watch the Desert Smash.  It is an awesome venue to watch tennis!

 I couldn't resist taking a picture of Will playing with Gwen Stefani's boys:).  Earlier that day, they had all been playing at the play structure together, and I didn't think it in good taste to take a picture then since were were the only non celebrities there:).  But somehow I thought the fountain was fair game:). 

Grace was  pretty happy that she got a smoothie and ice-cream! Yay for vacation!! 

then we got to end our vacation with Luke and Erin, and with Pat's family. . . 

This is where Matt had his 40th birthday party.   It was a very cool hotel and had a beautiful setting!

My Mom went on a hike with Erin and Luke and Erin's family.  Will was eager to climb the mountain, as well, so he and Pat met them at the top!

It was fun to show Pat's parents, Uncle Mike, Aunt Sheila, and Kelly around the resort before they came to my parents' house for dinner!

I think it freaked Kate out a little to have all of her favorite people around her:).  

I love this spot! The resort was definitely our home away from home for the week!

Thank you SFO for having a play structure at our gate!!
