Thanksgiving in Colusa

We had a fun week in Colusa! The kids and I drove down on Saturday. Karen and her crew were there when we got there.  We were all so excited to hang out with them! I loved that I got to spend time with all of my family, and the kids loved seeing all their cousins!

Halloween!

We had a busy and fun Halloween night! We started trick or treating at Bill and Maureen's, then it was off to Aunt Georgia's for chili.  After that, we set out in the neighborhood to trick or treat!

Santa Clara Reunion

I had so much fun meeting up with friends and going to activities at Santa Clara for our 20th reunion! We stayed at the Fairmont,and my highlights were running to Santa Row from our hotel with my friend Shauna, hanging out by the pool and catching up with friends during the day on Saturday, going to mass at the mission and dinner Saturday night with my cousin, Susi. And then going to the reunion dinner after that and catching up with some people I hadn't seen in 20 years.  I was surprised how much I enjoyed that!!
And mostly I went away with a great appreciation that I was a part of such a great school.  I didn't realize it as much at the time, but 20 years later, I am so grateful to have been a part of such a great, positive community!

Fall 2019

And just like that, one of my very favorite times of the year approaches; pumpkin patch season:)! We started off with a visit to Papa Bill's pumpkin patch!  Then off to the corn maze at

The Pumpkin Patch. Then back again to The Pumpkin Patch when Grandma and Grandpa were visiting for a hayride with Grandma!

Usually Maureen is in our pic, too, but she just had knee surgery!

The kids entered a coloring contest that our water company put on, and Annie won for her age group! And we were invited to a dinner where she was awarded a prize! Which was a giant candy bar:).  It was really fun!
